// GET AFTER IT!

Every session counts. Literally.

Log any training — a run, a lift, a swim — and it earns Output Points. 100 pts ≈ one solid session.

// HOW OUTPUT WORKS

Effort is subjective. Output isn’t.

01

Log anything

Any training, one log — a run, a lift, a swim, a row. If you did the work, log it.

02

It gets priced

Difficulty and quality adjust it, priced by the Gold Score engine. No likes, no judges: points are physics, not politics.

03

Your week climbs

Every entry adds to Weekly Output — the number that actually matters.

// THE WEEK

Load adds up. Streaks don’t.

Weekly Output is the number that moves your rank — not a day-streak you have to protect. Train five days, six days, or go hard on two: if the week adds up, it counts.

A qualifying week toward Iron, for example, currently runs 900+ pts. Come up short and nothing is lost — you just try again next week.

126 pts short of a qualifying week toward Iron

// YOUR HISTORY

Nothing on this page ever goes down.

Mettle

Rank that only moves up.

Ore is granted the day you start. Copper, Iron, Steel, Tempered, Damascus, Meteoric — each tier asks for sustained weeks at a rising bar, on top of the lifetime points you’ve already banked. Fall short of a week and nothing is taken away — you just try again next week.

  • Ore → Copper → Iron → Steel → Tempered → Damascus → Meteoric
  • Lifetime Output and Best Week, always on record
  • Sustained weeks at a rising bar — never a step back

// THE SQUAD

Your squad can see the number too.

Squads

Accountability works better when it has names and faces.

Squad spaces put every Weekly Output on one ranked board — gap-to-next, squad total, who’s closing in. It’s not a feed. It’s a scoreboard for people who already train together.

  • Ranked weekly board, updated as points land
  • Gap-to-next, so the chase stays visible
  • A squad total that moves when anyone logs
Gotta squad board ranking Weekly Output with gap-to-next

// THROW DOWN

When the squad throws down, answer.

Challenges

Two ways to race: a target, or the clock.

Classic races still count — first to 1,000 push-ups wins. Now any training can throw down together: most Output Points before Sunday, any activity, one board. A 5K and a lifting session score on the same scale.

  • Race-to-target, like 1,000 push-ups
  • Any-activity Output Points races, timed to the week
  • One board, real standings — no separate scoreboard per activity

Call-Outs

Prescribe the work, not the movement.

Set a points target and a deadline. Skip the exercise script — 300 pts by Monday. How you earn them is up to you. Direct, measurable, and impossible to hand-wave.

  • A points target and a deadline — nothing else prescribed
  • Accept it, log toward it, watch it close
  • Proof-aware results your squad can see

// THE RECEIPT

The number moved because the work happened.

No fake metrics. No invented hype. Just the real breakdown: base dose, difficulty, quality, and a total your squad can see.

FAQ

What are Output Points?

The number every logged session earns. Run, lift, swim, row — if it’s real training, it converts to Output Points. 100 pts ≈ one solid session, and Weekly Output is the total that actually matters.

How is it fair across different activities?

Every activity has a benchmarked dose — a baseline amount of work worth 100 pts — plus adjustments for difficulty and measurable quality. That’s the Gold Score methodology: a run, a lift, and a swim all get priced on the same scale, not compared on vibes.

What’s Mettle?

Mettle is the rank you earn from sustained weeks, not any single session: Ore, Copper, Iron, Steel, Tempered, Damascus, Meteoric. Each tier needs qualifying weeks toward it at a rising bar — today, for example, a qualifying week toward Iron runs 900+ pts — plus the lifetime points you’ve already banked. It never demotes: a slow week just means you try again next week.

Do I need a squad?

No. Your week, your history, and your rank are yours whether or not anyone else is watching. Squads add the ranked board and the events — Challenges and Call-Outs — on top of what you’re already earning.

What can I log?

Any measurable training: distance, reps, or time — whatever the activity actually produces. Add notes or photo and video evidence when a Challenge or Call-Out calls for it.

What are Challenges & Call-Outs now?

Challenges are squad-wide: race to a target like 1,000 push-ups, or run a timed leaderboard where any activity counts toward the most Output Points before the deadline. Call-Outs are one-to-one — a points target and a deadline, like 300 pts by Monday. How you earn them is up to you.

Is my activity private?

Yes. Gotta is built around your squads and Challenges, not a public feed. What you log is visible to the people in that context — not the internet.

Which platforms does Gotta support?

Gotta is available now for iPhone and Android.
